More Homework

In my last post I talked about the kinds of homework I use in my first grade classroom.  The reading log has been posted to my TPT store for FREE.  Here is the spelling homework menu I had also mentioned.  This resource will also be for FREE in my TPT store Simply Primary. Stop by my store and grab yourself a copy!

 It is a very simple way to have students practice their spelling words while respecting households and individual differences.  It allows the students to have choice and control over how they practice the words.  The goal is not to have the students practice the words my way, but to practice them....period.  I've always received positive feedback from parents regarding this tool.  I hope you see similar results!

Blending Board Tips and Tricks

My Alphabet Book, A Quick and Simple Early Reading Activity
